Finding & Buying Products
Select Picks by Track in the main navigation and select your track from the dropdown. When on the track page, scroll to the product section to see all available Today’s Racing Digest, Thoroughbred Analytics, and Expert products for that track.

On the track or product page, use the date selector inside the product grid to choose your race date. Then click the blue ADD SELECTED TO CART button.
Click Handicapping Products in the main navigation and choose the product from the dropdown.
On that page, select your track and race date, then click ADD SELECTED TO CART.
The printed Today’s Racing Digest sold on track (and at newsstands, OTBs, casinos, and sportsbooks) is available online as the Complete Digest.
Yes. You can select multiple tracks and/or race dates before clicking
ADD SELECTED TO CART.
Simply choose all the track and date combinations you want in the product grid, then add them to your cart in one step.
Purchasing is simple and does not require any technical experience.
- Click Picks by Track in the main menu.
- Select the racetrack you’re interested in.
- Choose the race date.
- Select the product(s) you want.
- Click ADD SELECTED TO CART.
- Proceed to checkout and enter your payment information.
You may check out as a guest for one-time purchases. An account is only required for subscriptions.
After purchase, your files are available immediately for download, and you will also receive a receipt by email.

No. We do not sell individual races separately.
Most of our products include the entire race card for the selected track and date (excluding any non-thoroughbred races such as hurdles, if applicable).
Some specialty products — such as Thoroughbred Analytics Best Bets, Key Factors Reports, or certain Expert selections — may focus only on races identified as the strongest betting opportunities rather than every race on the card.

You can find today’s Race Sheets by selecting your track under Picks by Track in the main menu.
Once on the track page, choose today’s race date and look for the Basic Race Sheets or Premium Race Sheets in the product grid.
If you have an active subscription that includes Race Sheets, the product will display as FREE or INCL.
No. You do not need an account to purchase or download products.
However, creating an account offers several benefits:
- Access to your past purchases anytime
- Faster checkout with saved billing information
- Access to special offers and promotions
If you plan to purchase regularly, we recommend creating an account for convenience.
Complete checkout from your cart. After purchase, you can download immediately from the confirmation page, the email receipt and anytime later under My Account → File Downloads.
Yes. You can purchase and download products using a mobile device.
Keep in mind that downloads may behave differently on iPhone and Android devices compared to desktop computers.

Posting & Availability
Posting times depend on the product.
- Thoroughbred Analytics products and TRD Basic Race Sheets are typically available as soon as entries are posted.
- TRD Complete Digest and included products are usually posted 24–48 hours prior to post time.
- Expert Handicapper Tip Sheets are generally available the night before race day.
Our target is approximately 36 hours before post time, but posting time may vary depending on the number of tracks running and the size of the race cards. The Southern California edition is typically posted 2 days prior to post time due to our printing and delivery deadlines. In some cases, products may be posted the night before races begin.
If you don’t see a product listed for today, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:
1. The Track Is Not Running
Some tracks are dark on certain days or between meets.
If the track is not running, products will not be listed.
2. The Races Were Cancelled
Occasionally, race cards are cancelled after entries are posted.
Common reasons include:
- Severe weather (rain, lightning, extreme heat, unsafe track conditions)
- Equipment or infrastructure failure
- Power outages
- Track safety concerns
- State or regulatory decisions
If races are cancelled, products for that card may be removed or not posted.
3. Coverage Is Not Offered for That Card
Not all tracks or race days have full coverage.
Some products (such as Complete Digest, Enhanced, or Premium Race Sheets) may only be available for select tracks or feature race days.
4. The Product Has Not Been Posted Yet
Posting times vary depending on the product:
- Thoroughbred Analytics products and
TRD Basic Race Sheets are typically available once entries are posted. - Enhanced, Premium, and Complete Digest products
are generally posted 24–48 hours before post time. - Some products may be released the night before race day.
If you expect a product and don’t see it yet, it may still be in preparation. Please refresh the page and check back later.
If you believe a product should be available but isn’t listed, feel free to contact support and we’ll assist you.
We publish the Complete Digest, including all associated features and analysis, every race day for the following tracks running in the following regions:
- NYRA tracks
- Southern California
- Florida
- Kentucky
- Oaklawn Park
- Woodbine
In addition, we produce Complete Digest for other tracks on major stakes days and key racing events. We'll list the tracks that we'll have Complete Digests under the Featured Tracks column in the Picks By Track main menu drop down.
How to Check Availability
- Click Handicapping Products in the main navigation.
- Select Complete Digest.
- View the available tracks and dates listed in the product grid.
You can also visit a specific track’s Picks page to see if Complete Digest is available for that card.
If a track is not listed for a given date, Complete Digest is not being published for that card. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about track coverage at [email protected]
A featured track is one where we are providing expanded coverage for that race day.
This may include products such as:
- Complete Digest
- Enhanced or Premium Race Sheets
- Feature previews (first four races from select products)
- Free Featured Race of the Day
Featured tracks typically receive deeper analysis and additional tools compared to tracks with basic coverage.
Product availability depends on the track and race day.
Most tracks offer full-card coverage, but some specialty products may only be available on select race days or major events.
You can view available products by selecting your track under Picks by Track and choosing your race date.
Yes. For every track we cover, we provide the Basic Race Sheets for Race 3 free each day.
This gives you the opportunity to experience how our projections, race analysis, and data tools are structured and how they can simplify your handicapping process before making a purchase.
Additional Free Content We Provide
We also offer several other ways to explore our products:
- On featured tracks where we publish a Complete Digest, we may provide the first four races from one of our feature products (such as Quick Picks, Fast Figs, Fractional Charting, or Consensus).
- A Free Featured Race of the Day, which represents what we believe to be the strongest betting opportunity on that card. This can be found directly on the track page and is also available as a free PDF download.
- Periodic full-card Best Bets and race rankings published as Race Preview articles.

Free content may vary depending on the track and day, but there is always an opportunity to preview our approach and analysis.

Understanding Products
Not exactly. Race Sheets (Basic and Premium) are projected past performances
and analysis tools. The Complete Digest is the full-card publication that matches the printed version sold on track and at retail locations.
If you want the exact printed Digest, select Complete Digest.
Fast Figs are proprietary performance ratings developed by Today’s Racing Digest that combine class, pace, and speed into a single predictive figure.
They are designed to help you quickly identify competitive horses in a race without needing to analyze multiple data points separately.
Fast Figs are especially useful for ranking contenders and spotting potential value plays based on projected performance.
Fractional Charting breaks a race down by projected pace at each point of call — early, middle, and late — based on our proprietary class and par-time standards.
Instead of focusing only on final speed, it helps you understand how a race is likely to unfold and which running styles fit today’s projected pace scenario.
It is commonly used to evaluate pace matchups, identify potential pace collapses, and analyze race flow before wagering.
Consensus combines the selections of Today’s Racing Digest handicappers into a ranked 1-2-3 format for each race.
Each race highlights the top contender based on a point system, along with secondary selections that can be used for multi-race wagers and exotic tickets.
Consensus is designed for players who want clear, streamlined picks without reviewing full race sheet analysis.
Today’s Racing Digest, Thoroughbred Analytics, and Expert Handicapping products are three different types of handicapping tools available on our site.
Today’s Racing Digest Products
These are our proprietary projected past performances and analysis tools, including Basic and Premium Race Sheets, Quick Picks, Fast Figs, Fractional Charting, Consensus, Post Position Winners by Size of Field, Track Profile, Track Variants and the Complete Digest which bundles them all into one download.
Thoroughbred Analytics Products
These are data-driven reports and traditional-format past performances generated using analytical models. They include Best Bets, Key Factors Reports, and Premium or Basic Past Performances.
Expert Handicapping Products
These are selections and analysis provided by independent handicappers who focus on specific races or betting opportunities.
Each product type uses a different approach and format, so be sure to select the one that best fits your handicapping style.
Fast Figs, Fractional Charting, and Consensus are three different handicapping tools, each designed for a specific purpose.
Fast Figs
Fast Figs provide a single performance rating that combines class, pace, and speed into one number. They are primarily used to quickly rank contenders in a race.
Fractional Charting
Fractional Charting focuses on projected pace and race flow. It helps you understand how a race is likely to unfold at each call and which running styles fit the expected scenario.
Consensus
Consensus summarizes the top selections from Today’s Racing Digest handicappers into a clear 1-2-3 ranking format for each race.
In Simple Terms

Many players use one tool, while others combine them depending on their handicapping style.
If you’re new, the “best” product depends on how hands-on you want to be:

- Fast + simple overview: Quick Picks — an easy-to-read summary so you can make decisions quickly.

- Best for learning and improving: Basic Race Sheets (TRD) — our projected past performances that show how each horse fits today’s conditions.

If you want to improve and understand why horses fit: add Premium Race Sheets.
How to buy: Click Picks by Track, choose your track, then select your race date in the product grid and click ADD SELECTED TO CART.
No. Most customers do not use every product.
Each product serves a different purpose, so what you need depends on how you handicap:
- Want expert picks only? Tip Sheets may be enough.
- Want a fast summary view? Quick Picks or Consensus can work on their own.
- Want deeper analysis? Premium Race Sheets provide full projected past performances.
- Want advanced pace or figure analysis? Add Fast Figs, Fractional Charting or Pace Pals.
Many players start with one core product and add others only if they want more detail.
You can purchase products individually by race date, so there’s no requirement to buy everything.
Most customers choose the Complete Digest because it delivers a comprehensive view of the race in one product.

Meet-Long Subscriptions
A Meet-Long subscription provides access all Today’s Racing Digest products for a specific racing meet (for example, a seasonal meet such as winter or spring).
This subscription automatically ends when the meet concludes and does not auto-renew.
Unlimited Subscriptions
An Unlimited subscription provides ongoing access to eligible Today’s Racing Digest products during your active billing period.
Unlimited subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel or turn off auto-renew.
Key Difference
- Meet-Long subscriptions are tied to a specific racing meet and end automatically.
- Unlimited subscriptions continue month-to-month (or term-to-term) until canceled.
Unlimited subscriptions provide access to all Today’s Racing Digest products included in your selected plan for one flat price.
Once subscribed, eligible products will display as FREE or INCL while your subscription is active.
Unlimited subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
A subscription gives you access to eligible Today’s Racing Digest products for a flat price during your active billing period.
Once your subscription is active, products covered under your plan will display as
FREE or INCL.
You will know your subscription is working correctly when the price of eligible products shows as $0 when added to your cart and remains $0 throughout the checkout process.
Unlimited subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled or auto-renew is turned off.
Meet-Long subscriptions provide access for the duration of a specific racing meet and automatically end when the meet concludes.

Download & Access Issues
After completing checkout, you can download your files in three places:
- Order Confirmation Page: Immediately after checkout, you’ll see download links on your receipt page.
- Email Receipt: Your confirmation email includes a download link.
- My Account: Log in and go to My Account → File Downloads to access your files anytime.
If you don’t see your email receipt, check your spam or promotions folder.
There are a few common reasons this may happen:
- You may not be logged into the correct account.
- Your order may still be processing.
- You may be viewing the wrong track or race date.
If you purchased a Thoroughbred Analytics product, please note that these reports are
generated on demand and may take up to one minute to be produced.
During that time, you may see a placeholder PDF. If this happens, simply refresh the page
or click the download link again until the correct file appears.
If the product does not appear after several minutes, please contact us at at [email protected] and we will either provide the file directly
or issue a refund if there is a production issue.
If you’re having trouble downloading, check the following:
- Make sure you’re logged in if the product requires an account (subscriptions require login).
- Go to My Account → File Downloads to access purchased files.
- Disable pop-up blockers — some browsers block PDF downloads.
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari typically work best).
- Check your internet connection and refresh the page.
If you completed checkout as a guest, your download link is also available on the order confirmation page and in your email receipt.

If you didn’t receive your receipt or download email, check the following:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Search your inbox for our company name.
- Make sure you entered the correct email address at checkout.
If you created an account, you can download your products anytime by logging in and going to My Account → File Downloads.
If you checked out as a guest and cannot locate the email, contact support with your name, email address used at checkout, and approximate purchase time so we can resend your receipt.
If the site says you already purchased this product, it means the order is already in our system.
- Log into your account using the email address used at checkout.
- Go to My Account → File Downloads.
- Locate the product by race date and download it from there.
If you checked out as a guest, search your email for your receipt and use the original download link.
If you cannot access the product, contact support and include the email address used at checkout so we can locate your order.
Thoroughbred Analytics reports are generated on demand after purchase.
This process can take up to one minute.
While the report is being produced, you may see a placeholder PDF.
This simply means the file is still generating.
If you see a placeholder:
- Refresh the page, or
- Click the download link again.
The correct file should appear once production is complete.
If the product does not appear after several minutes, please contact us at

We will provide the file directly or issue a refund if there is a production issue.
If your file appears blank, it’s usually one of two things:
- Thoroughbred Analytics products: These are generated on demand. A temporary placeholder file may appear while the product is being created. This process can take up to 1 minute. Please wait and download the file again.
- Browser or download issue: Try downloading the file again and make sure you open it with a PDF reader instead of previewing it in your browser.
If the file is still blank after waiting and downloading again, contact support with your order number and we will correct it quickly.

If you received the wrong file, we’ll fix it quickly.
- Confirm the track and race date shown on the file.
- Make sure you downloaded the correct product from My Account → File Downloads.
If the file is incorrect, contact support and include:
- Your order number
- The product name
- The track and race date you intended to purchase
We will correct the file and provide the proper download as soon as possible.
If your PDF won’t open, try the following:
- Download the file first instead of previewing it in your browser.
- Make sure you have a PDF reader installed (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader).
- Right-click the download link and choose “Save Link As” if clicking does nothing.
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari usually work best).
- Try opening the file on a different device if possible.
If the file still won’t open, contact support with your order number and we’ll help you resolve it quickly.
If a page won’t load, try these quick fixes:
- Refresh the page (or close the tab and reopen it).
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- Try a different browser (Chrome or Safari usually work best).
- Disable ad blockers / privacy extensions for our site and reload.
- Try an incognito/private window to rule out a cached or saved login issue.

Subscriptions
You can view all currently available subscription on our Subscription Page.
Unlimited subscriptions auto-renew by default at the next billing cycle.
Meet-long subscriptions automatically end when the meet concludes and do not renew.
When you cancel an unlimited subscription, your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
At the end of that period:
- Your subscription will not renew
- You will not be charged again
- Access to subscription benefits will end
Yes. If you have any concerns about a renewal charge, contact us and we will review your request and issue a refund as appropriate.
If your subscription renews before you cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible.
Unlimited subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless auto-renew is turned off or the subscription is canceled.
If you forgot to cancel before renewal, email us at [email protected] and we will review the charge and issue a refund if appropriate.
We aim to be fair and flexible — just reach out and we’ll help resolve it.
Yes. We will continue to honor the subscription price you originally signed up for as long as that subscription remains active.
If you cancel your subscription and later re-subscribe, the new subscription will be at the current listed rate.
Yes. You can upgrade or switch subscription plans at any time.

- Cancel your current subscription.
- Purchase the new plan you would like.
Your current subscription will remain active until the end of its billing period, and the new plan will begin based on the date you purchase it.

Billing & Payments
The most common reason for a charge is an automatic subscription renewal.
Unlimited subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled or auto-renew is turned off.
Meet-Long subscriptions do not renew and end when the meet concludes.

How do I use a coupon code?
You can apply a coupon code during checkout.
- Add your selected products to your cart.
- Click the cart icon in the top right and proceed to Checkout.
- On the checkout page, look for the Coupon Code field.
- Enter your coupon code exactly as provided.
- Click Apply (if applicable).
If the coupon is valid, the discount will be applied to your order total.
If the Coupon Does Not Work
- Make sure the code is entered correctly (no extra spaces).
- Confirm the coupon has not expired.
- Check that the coupon applies to the product you are purchasing.

If your payment failed, it is usually due to one of the following reasons:

Once a refund is processed on our end, it typically takes 3–7 business days for the funds to appear back in your account.

Yes. A receipt is automatically generated for every purchase.
You can access your receipt in two ways:

Account Management
If you cannot log in because you forgot your password, follow these steps:
- Go to the website homepage.
- Click Log-In/Register in the top menu.
- On the login screen, click Lost your password?
- Enter the email address used when you created your account.
- Check your email and follow the password reset link.
If you do not receive the reset email, check your spam or junk folder.
If you no longer have access to the email address on file, contact support at [email protected] and we will help you regain access.
To reset your password:
- Click My Account in the top menu.
- Select Account Details
- Enter your email address.
- Follow the reset link sent to your email.
If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder.
Your username is typically the email address used when creating your account.
If you are unsure which email you used, search your inbox for past order receipts from us.
If you still cannot locate it, contact support and provide your name and possible email addresses so we can help locate your account.
To update your email address:
- Log into your account.
- Go to My Account.
- Select Account Details.
- Update your email address.
- Save changes.

Usernames typically cannot be changed once created.
If you need to update the email address associated with your account, you can do so under My Account → Account Details.

To create an account:

Traditional past performances show what happened in previous races — final times, running positions, and basic speed figures.
TRD Figures go a step further by interpreting how those performances relate to today’s race conditions.
Instead of simply listing raw historical data, TRD Figures are designed to account for factors such as projected pace, class level, and race setup to provide a clearer view of how a horse fits today.
The goal is not just to show what happened in the past, but to help evaluate how that performance translates into the current race.
How We Track and Report Results
All results published on TodaysRacingDigest.com are calculated using $2 hypothetical base wagers. Posted payouts reflect the gross return of winning combinations only and do not deduct the cost of wagers or include losing tickets.
We use this standardized approach because:
- We do not recommend that customers play every possible wager in every race.
- Bettors structure tickets in different ways and at different investment levels.
- Multiple wagering combinations can produce the same payout while requiring different total amounts wagered.
- We cannot determine how any individual user structured or funded their tickets.
Our results therefore reflect all possible $2 base payouts generated using our top four selections. Horses ranked 5 and 6 are used only if one or more of the top four selections are scratched.
We report potential returns for the following wager types:
- Win / Place / Show
- Exacta / Trifecta / Superfecta
- Daily Double
- Pick 3
- Pick 4
- Pick 5
- Pick 6
This method of reporting—using standardized $2 base wager payouts without adjusting for ticket cost—is the industry norm among racing analysis and tip sheet providers.
All published win payout results are based on a $2 win bet on the top pick/figure for each product. When multiple horses share the same high figure we use the horse with highest Fast Fig to break the tie. If multiple horses shared the same high figure and Fast Fig then the horse, from that group, with the highest CPR would be chosen. When calculating Fast Figs and multiple horses share the same high Fast Fig we use the horse with the highest FNLRAT to break the tie.
