The road to Kentucky Oaks 2024 continues at Aqueduct on Saturday, April 6, and I have included Gazelle Stakes 2024 picks below. The Grade 3 event for 3-year-old fillies has a $200,000 purse and the ten entrants will be journeying 1 1/18 miles on the main track. The Gazelle Stakes is the 8th race on April 6 and the top five finishers will earn Kentucky Oaks points (100-50-25-15-10). 

Gazelle Stakes 2024 Picks & Final Time Ratings

There is no way that I can back Where’s My Ring on the win end at 7-2 odds. She is still a maiden after seven starts. The Twirling Candy filly earned decent numbers with the addition of blinkers in her last pair. She plugged away for the place in the Grade 3 Santa Ysabel at 20-1 odds on March 9. Kinza beat her last time and that filly is talented for Bob Baffert. I like her more underneath. 

Barbratina owns ascending final time ratings for Brad Cox. She fired exacta shots in all four starts and exits a runner-up finish in the Cincinnati Trophy at Turfway Park. She returns to dirt and should be finishing under her new rider Joel Rosario. 

Life Talk might take too much win action for Todd Pletcher. She stole the Grade 2 Demoiselle over a speed favoring wet track on Dec. 2. She flopped as the favorite in the Suncoast on Feb. 10, and she adds blinkers and figures to attend the pace under Kendrick Carmouche. 

Gin Gin should get pace to chase. She won the Busanda at this course and distance on Jan. 13, and finished an even third in the Busher at one mile on March 2. Her new rider Manny Franco wins races with Brad Cox and the race flow might be in her favor. 

The Gazelle Stakes field also includes Whocouldaskformo, Princess Vino, Six Pack Senorita, Regulatory Risk, Carmelina, and Munny Grab.
