Cincinnati Trophy Stakes 2024 Picks

The road to Kentucky Oaks 2024 continues at Turfway Park on Friday, March 1, and I have included Cincinnati Trophy Stakes 2024 picks below. The non-graded event for 3-year-old fillies has a $150,000 purse and the full field of entrants will be journeying one mile on the all-weather track. The Cincinnati Trophy is the 6th race on March 1 and the top five finishers will earn Kentucky Oaks points (20-10-6-4-2). 

Cincinnati Trophy Stakes 2024 Picks & Odds

Sistina Chapel fired trifecta shots in all six starts, and she has just one win. She landed the place in her first two turf routes and completed the trifecta in her last two dirt route stakes attempts. She can come running for a share.  

Living Magic won two stakes last year and she can run on anything. She stalked and scored in her 4 1/2 furlong bow on dirt at Parx, and won the My Dear Stakes on all-weather ground at Woodbine. She stalked the pace and landed the place in the Presque Isle Debutante, and was last seen capturing the Chelsey Flower at 1 1/16 miles on turf. She beat Ozara (IRE) last time and that one returned to take the Wait a While and Ginger Brew at Gulfstream Park. The fresh, versatile Justify filly has multiple Fair Hill bullets in her holster. 

Barbratina stalked the pace and cruised to an easy debut victory at seven panels last summer. She moved to the Brad Cox barn and rallied for the place in the slop second time out, and came running for the place in a slow early/fast late event at Turfway Park on Jan. 5. The fresh filly drilled a bullet for this on Feb. 3 and should make her presence felt in the lane.  

The Cincinnati Trophy field also includes recent maiden winner Figgy, De Regreso, Maxisuperfly, Valdale Stakes runner-up Cozee Rags, Dazzlin’ Dictator, maiden Stephanieswarrior, Everland, Falabella, Vicountess, and also-eligibles Impel and Spice.
