Tom’s Beauty: Plenty of Options With This Sharp Filly

Four year old filly for Jeff Mullins came off a brief freshening on Saturday, got a rider upgrade to Berrios, and showed improved early speed that developed into a sharp victory. Off at 3/1 in a field of 9 in this first allowance condition sprint on the grass, she broke sharply from the inside and dueled for the lead down the back side with the 8/5 favorite. She shook loose at the top of the lane and cruised on home to win by two and a half. This was her sixth career start and though she has never been two turns, she is bred to get at least a mile. The Mullins barn has been red hot this meet and he has plenty of options with this sharp filly. Up the ladder.
