Impact Warrior (IRE): Should Win This Condition In Next Start

Three year old filly for Phil D’Amato made her U.S. debut on Saturday in a 12 horse field for the 1st allowance condition at a flat mile on the green. Off at 3/1, she settled nicely for Desormeaux, as he took a hold of her early and she was five back in the middle of the field down the back side. He asked her for run at the 3/8 pole and she responded, moving by horses and was 2nd at the top of the lane. She put in a good rally but couldn’t catch the favorite who got the jump on her at the ¼ pole. She finished 2nd but was only beaten a length at the wire and it was four back to the third horse. She will win this condition before the end of the summer meet.
