Centavo: Caught Up In The Back of a 4 Horse Speed Duel

Took the worst of the four horse speed duel up the backstretch as he was in the four path. Jock went to the whip around the turn and he took the lead entering the stretch. However, he understandably couldn’t hold off the winner along the rail late in what was a game performance.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Centavo was cabable of.  We expected that if Centavo gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Centavo performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Centavo last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Centavo next start.  If Centavo appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Centavo will dominate the race.
