Bessie Coleman: Look for Miyadi to Find a Comfy Spot in the near future

Three year old filly for Steve Miyadi made her debut on Friday in a Cal bred special weight event at five and a half on the main. Off at 9/1 in a field of six, she dwelt badly at the start and gave the field 7 lengths right off the bat. She was still last at the ¼ pole and still 7 back at that point in the race, but Baze got her rolling at the top of the lane, found a hole at the rail, and finished with good momentum to get second, and was only beaten ¾ at the wire to a perfect tripper on the outside. All in all, this race showed this daughter of Grazen is a runner and she is bred well for the turf as well. Look for Miyadi to find a comfy spot for this Cal bred in the near future.
