Quick Picks are helpful if you are not sure that you picked the right horses to win or you want to confirm that you have you accurately identified the contenders and main threats on today's card.  It's also the perfect product if you're new to handicapping and you need a quick and easy way to determine where to place your bets. The Digest analysts give you their Top Choice and Main Threat contenders. There is also a list of Long-shots to keep your eye on, with brief betting strategies for the races that have been deemed exceptional wagering opportunities.  Additionally, we have a suggested Pick 5 ticket made up for you which can be found by looking for the BOLDED horses in each race. The cost of the Pick 5 ticket is also listed at the top of the Quick Picks.  Finally, you'll get a suggested Pick Four Ticket with short-priced, vulnerable horses to Bet Against.

Pick Six Scramble Formula - A method for building a Pick Six Ticket Using Quick Picks

For fans of the Pick Six Scramble, simply employ the following strategy with the horses listed on the Quick Pick Page. The requirements are two ‘singles’ somewhere in the Pick Six. Place your ‘singles’ in their proper spot and then select three horses in each of the other four races. Label the first three horses ‘A,B,C,’, the second set as ‘D,E,F’ the third set as ‘G,H,I’ and the fourth as ‘J.K,L’. Use the following patterns to build your nine $2 tickets. In this example our ‘singles’ are in legs 2 (s1) and 4 (s2) of the Pick Six.
