Muth: May Be One to Beat In Best Pal Stakes At Del Mar

Two year old colt for Bob Baffert made his debut on Sunday in a maiden special weight event at 5/8 on the main track. Off at 1 to 5 in a field of six, he broke like a cannon shot from the six hole and had six on the field by the 3/8 pole. That lead was up to 8 turning for home and he won easily geared down and wrapped up by 7 at the wire. He cost a cool $2 million Ocala two year old sale in March and this son of the good win early sire Good Magic is a runner. He may be the one to beat in the Best Pal stakes at Del Mar on August 13.
