Seismic Beauty: Put Other Speed Away and Won by 6

Three year old filly for Bob Baffert and owned by that huge conglomerate of myracehorse.com, broke her maiden in start #2 on Friday in the easiest manner possible. Bet down to 1 to 5 in a field of 8, she broke running under J.J. and dueled for the lead from the outside through quick fractions of 21.94 and 44.74 for the half in this six furlong event. She put the other speed away at the top of the lane, eased clear on her own and won by six at the wire geared down. She ran the final quarter in 24.30 for a quick six in 1:09.06 in just her 2nd start. Ho hum, Baffert ‘s got another exciting young filly.
