Delitefull Hart: Put Favorite Away Quickly With a 3 Length Win

Three year old filly for Mike Puype made her debut on Sunday in a maiden special weight sprint at six and a half on the main for 3 and 4 year olds. Off at 8/5 in just a five horse field, she was unlucky to draw the rail, but nonetheless broke well for Mike Smith and was taken in hand down the back side, sitting third just two off the leader. She found a seam at the top of the lane, drove through it like a champ and put away the favorite quickly, going on to a three length win. It was a solid victory for this daughter of Outwork and Puype has really taken his time with this one. She is a runner.
