Dashing Della: A Better Trip And More Experience Can Help

Was asked a tough question in her first start as a winner going from NY-bred $25,000 Maiden-Claimer to NY-bred NW1 Allowance, but didn’t run badly at all. She was in the five path up the backstretch and around the turn and she challenged the leader entering the stretch. The soph couldn’t compete in the late stages against the more experienced 4-year-old and tired late to finish 4th. A better trip and more experience can only help.
