Thunderian: Look For a Move Forward on the Stretchout

Comebacker made his sprint debut today and this may have been a prep. While he was away slowly, he was rushed up to settle behind the leaders up the backstretch and moved to the outside as then entered the turn. The soph couldn’t keep up with the two leaders in the stretch, but he did hold on for third. Look for him to move forward on the stretchout.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Thunderian was cabable of.  We expected that if Thunderian gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Thunderian performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Thunderian last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Thunderian next start.  If Thunderian appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Thunderian will dominate the race.
