Glowsity: Hopped at Break and Bumped to Finish 2nd

Hopped at the break and was bumped by the runner next to her right out of the gate. She is usually forwardly-placed so the troubled break likely cost her a better placing. Wolfsont then asked her for more run and she was able to settle behind a four horse speed duel in the 5-6 path as the field left the chute. The filly didn’t really have clear sailing up the backstretch as well as she steadied slightly a few times. She finally did have room to run around the turn and held her own in the stretch to finish 2nd.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Glowsity was cabable of.  We expected that if Glowsity gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Glowsity performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Glowsity last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Glowsity next start.  If Glowsity appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Glowsity will dominate the race.
