Unbreakable Trust: Was Best Here Watch For Win In Next Start

Two year old colt for John Sadler made his debut on Sunday at ¾ on the main in a maiden claimer for $100,000 that was just about equal to a straight maiden allowance race. After a late scratch, only six went to the post and “Trust” was sent off at odds of 5/2 under leading rider J.J. Hernandez. As is the case with many debut runners, he completely blew the start, broke awkwardly and was away last. He was six lengths off the lead by the 3/8 pole but then started to rally on the outside. He continued to make steady progress down the lane and was finishing fastest of anyone as he was still six lengths off the lead at the 1/8 pole. The wire came up too soon and he lost by a half length. Based on his start, he was best today and should get it done in start #2 for a barn that still has the most wins at this meet through five weeks of racing.
