Time to Party: Eye Catching Move Past 8 in 2 Furlongs

Three year old gelding for George Papaprodromou was in for a starter allowance race on the 27th, a non winners of three lifetime at a mile on the turf. Off at 2/1 in a field of 11, he was content to lag early and was well back of the leaders down the back side by about 10 lengths. He made a move at the half mile pole which was eye catching, as he went by 8 horses in just two furlongs and sustained that rally well into the stretch. Not many horses can have a rally that long and he went on to win by ¾ at the wire. The time was solid in 1:34.68 and he still has the first allowance condition available. Up the ladder for this son of Katharos.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Time to Party was cabable of.  We expected that if Time to Party gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Time to Party performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Time to Party last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Time to Party next start.  If Time to Party appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Time to Party will dominate the race.
