Strutting (GB): Will Have No Trouble Knocking Out This Condition at Santa Anita

Three year old filly for Michael McCarthy made her U.S. debut in the finale on Friday and ran a bang up race to lose by a half at the wire. Off as the 4/1 choice in a field of 11 for the first allowance condition at a mile on the turf, she was covered up early by Rispoli into the clubhouse turn, was last and was a good 11 lengths back of the leaders coming out of that turn. The jock got her moving at the ¼ pole, took her to the outside and was five wide at the top of the lane, then finished with a rush to miss by a half at the wire in a driving finish. She was running with stakes company over in Britain and was holding her own, and though she has but one win in ten starts, she will have no trouble knocking out this condition up at Arcadia. This daughter of the great stallion Frankel fits nicely with the California scene and McCarthy is coming off a dynamite meet here at Del Mar.
