Straight No Chaser: Big Time Threat if Runs in Breeders’ Cup Sprint

Five year old full horse for Dan Blacker made a shambles of the Grade 2 Sprint Championship on Sunday as the even money favorite. Blessed with an abundance of early speed, he took the lead just after the break under Johnny V and sizzled through the back side with fractions of 21.83 and 44.28. He had three on the field turning for home, then shut the door on the field with a final quarter in 24.26. He won by 7 in this 7 horse field in the race horse time of 1:08.54. I think they will take a shot with him in the B/C Sprint and with his type of speed, if he can shake loose like he did, he’s a big time threat for trainer Dan Blacker.
