This three year old filly for Doug O’Neill made this listing for the 2nd consecutive start because her victory today was so impressive over a field of 9, going 5/8 on the turf for the 1st allowance condition. Off at 5/2 and a Best Bet on our sheet, she was 4th early but only two lengths off the pace. Gutierrez swung out for the drive at the top of the lane and she kicked into overdrive without being really asked and won by four and a half going away. This was her 4th start on the turf and she has never been worse than 2nd. She’s a Cal bred to boot and she could easily contend in a Cal bred stakes if given the opportunity. Being by Square Eddie, turf is where she belongs and two turns certainly seems within her scope as well. Lots of options for the O’Neill barn as this filly turns four in 30 days.
