Signora Minister: Rapidly Improving One To Watch In Next Start

Four year old filly for Peter Miller was entered in a 20,000 claimer for 3 and up on the main at ¾ on Friday for non winners of 3 lifetime. Off as the 2/1 choice in a field of 9, she broke well under Diego Herrera and sat two lengths back of the leader down the back side in third place. The boy asked her for run at the 3/8 pole and she inhaled the leader at the ¼ pole and quickly opened up five on the field at the 1/8 pole. She was hand ridden the final furlong and won by 8 at the wire. How she failed to get claimed out of this race is beyond me, but Miller slipped one by his opponents today. She has now won 3 of 5 starts with one second and has won on the dirt and the lawn. Up the ladder for this rapidly improving daughter of Valiant Minister.
