She’s Muy Muy: Soon Winner For Leading Trainer For Meet

Four year old filly for Mark Glatt tried two turns for the 1st time in her 4 race career in Monday’s opener, a one mile turf event for maiden claimers with a tag of $50,000. Off at 4/1 in a field of six, she made the running right from the get go and made the lead coming out of the clubhouse turn. She had two on the field down the back side, saw that lead diminish to one by the 3/16 pole, but was dead game down the length of the stretch. The odds on favorite caught her at the 1/8 pole but had a tough time getting by. She lost by a head at the wire and it was six back to the third horse. She quickly galloped out well past the winner. She’s a soon winner for the leading trainer at this meet and she can go short or long.
