Runandscore: Off The Screen Around Far Turn But Ralled For 2nd

Second-timer from Turfway was off the screen around the far turn, but he started his rally just before entering the stretch. He was really moving well in the stretch especially when he moved to the faster outside and he just got up for 2nd. Was it the mud, experience, switch to the dirt that made the difference? We may find out next time.
