Princess Adaleigh: Ready For Stakes Action Now

Four year old filly for Vladimir Cerin tried the 2nd allowance condition in Saturday’s opener, a ¾ mile sprint on the turf for older fillies and mares. Off as the even money choice in a field of six, she fought for the lead from the get go through fractions of 22.92 and 45.81 for the half. She put the other speed away at the top of the lane, dug in gamely as she always does, and went on to win rather easily by one at the wire. She is ready for stakes action right now and should love those 5/8 sprints down at Del Mar on the sod. She has won on dirt, synthetic, and now the turf and has never been worse than second in six of seven starts. This filly is a runner.
