Notime for Squalls: Fought Through Narrow Hole to Open Up Late and Win by two and a half

Three year old filly for Mark Glatt dropped into a maiden claimer in her 3rd career start and was sent two turns for the first time at a mile on the turf. Off at 5/2 and a lot of late money coming in the final two minutes, she broke ok from the fence under Tyler Baze and saved ground throughout, sitting in third down the back side just three back. Baze kept her on the rail and at the top of the lane, fought her way through a narrow hole, then opened up late to win going away by two and a half. She is now eligible for the starter races, non winners twice, and should be a major player in that category going forward. Trainer Mark Glatt continues to make all the right moves these days.
