Nauvoo: 2nd Strong Dominate Win in 16 Days.

Four year old gelding for Kristin Mulhall, who she just claimed for $12,500 16 days ago, was entered right back for $20,000 on Sunday in a six horse field at a flat mile on the main track. Off as the even money favorite having just won at a mile by 11 lengths, he zipped right to the front under Kyle Frey and had two on the back side through fractions of 23.30 and 46.90 over a dull racing surface. He opened up four by the ¼ pole, then sailed on home to win by 10 at the wire. It was his 2nd strong dominant win in 16 days. He was red tagged out of this race with Ceasar DeAlbo winning the shake.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Nauvoo was cabable of.  We expected that if Nauvoo gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Nauvoo performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Nauvoo last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Nauvoo next start.  If Nauvoo appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Nauvoo will dominate the race.
