Motion to Strike: Run Down While on The Slower Inisde Rail But Fought Bravely

Yet another frontrunner that raced on the slower inside only to be run down by the outside closers in the stretch. The gelding really did fight on bravely in the stretch and was only passed with about 6-7 strides before the wire. A fairer track could help him show more stick in his next start.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Motion to Strike was cabable of.  We expected that if Motion to Strike gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Motion to Strike performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Motion to Strike last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Motion to Strike next start.  If Motion to Strike appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Motion to Strike will dominate the race.
