Moment’s Pleasure: Soon Winner If Lewis Keeps Her On Turf and 2 Turns

Three year old filly for Craig Lewis, making just her 5th career start, tried a Cal bred stakes for $100K on Saturday and outran her odds by a bunch. Off at 25/1 in a field of 11 at a mile on the turf for 3 and up, she broke well and rated in 4th down the back side just 3 back of the leaders. She saved all the ground on the fence with Berrios, swung out for room at the 1/8 pole, and finished with good courage to nail down second, beaten just one length by the odds on favorite. This daughter of Clubhouse Ride has all of her conditions available including a non winners twice starter race for $50K. She’s a soon winner as long as Lewis keeps her on the turf and her preferred distance of two turns. Berrios fits her perfectly.
