Lamporghini: Good Enough To Knock Out This Condition at Arcadia

Two year old filly for Doug O’Neill made her 2nd career start in Thursday’s finale, a mile turf race for Cal bred juvenile fillies. Off at 7/1 in a field of six due to two late scratches, she pressed a moderate pace under Maldonado, and was only one length back down the back side. She stuck her nose in front turning for home, but had no answer for the favorite as she strolled right on by, but she hung on gamely for second beaten two and a half at the wire. This was her 1st try on the turf and her 1st time going two turns and it was an admiral performance. She appears good enough to knock out this condition up at Arcadia and look for O’Neill to find the appropriate spot.
