Irish Rose: Rough Trip But Will Graduate Soon

Three year old colt for Neil Drysdale made her debut on Sunday at ¾ on the turf in a maiden special weight event. Off at 7/1 in a field of 10, she was void of any early speed and was last down the back side, 9 lengths off the pace. Aguilar kept her on the fence throughout and she started to move up at the ¼ pole. She checked badly at the 1/8 pole when a horse came over on her, lost her momentum, but then came back on again late to get second. She got beat a length and a half by the favorite but all in all, she had a pretty rough trip. But, she’s a runner and she will have her diploma in the near future. Follow.
