Ginnsu Warrior: Switched Leads Near Wire and Can Improve

Showed a lot more early speed today in what may have been an experiment for his new barn. The gelding was four deep in a five horse battle for the lead up the backstretch. He took over the lead around the turn and was in between horses throughout the stretch. He was keeping up with the other two until the jock hit him right handed which caused him to lug in a bit and the jock had to take a hold of him late. He also switched leads nearing the wire and tired to 3rd. We’re guessing he will be forwardly-placed once again and maybe he won’t have as much pace pressure as well which could lead to a better finish.
