For All Mankind: Best Races Have Come When J.J> is in the Irons

Six year old gelding for John Sadler tried the 2nd allowance condition on Friday at six and a half on the main. Off at 6/1 in a field of six, he broke OK under J.J. and sat third down the back side, just 3 lengths off the two leaders. The jock put him to a drive at the top of the lane, swung to the outside, and then put in a bold finish to run 2nd beaten just one at the wire by the favorite. It was something new for this lightly raced gelding for him to come from off the pace. He has had only 12 starts in his career and he’s good enough to knock out this condition. His best races have come when J.J. is in the irons so look for Sadler to find a winning spot for him in the very near future.
