Firenze Flavor: Showed Terrific Turn Of Foot And Rolled Like a Freight Train Upcoming Race: Santa Anita February 21, 2025

Three year old filly for Paddy Gallagher made start #2 on Monday in a maiden special weight event at a mile on the grass for soph fillies. Bet down from a M/L of 5/1 to 8/5, she stumbled at the start and was quickly 11 lengths back of the leaders into the clubhouse turn. Rispoli kept her on the fence down the back side and she started to do some running at the ¼ pole where he swung her five wide. Once she got set down on the outside, she showed a terrific turn of foot and rolled like a freight train in the middle of the course to win going away by a half at the wire. Visually it was a superb performance and they will write allowance races for soph fillies, and they will fill at this time of the year, especially on the turf. She has the style to win one of those in the very near future.
