Enjoy It Strait: Will Continue His Winning Ways Going Long or Short.

Five year old gelding for Mark Glatt, who had not been to the post since April of 2023, tried the 1st allowance condition for Cal breds on Saturday at ¾ on the main. Off at 4/1 in a field of 9, he broke OK under Flavien Prat and was 4th early and on the outside from his #9 post. Prat got him rolling at the ¼ pole, swung him five wide into the lane, and just did get up at the wire to win by a head. This was his 8th win in just 17 starts and all of his other wins were going two turns, mostly up at GGF for another trainer. Glatt claimed him for $20K two starts back and now has a solid runner who can go short or long, plus he has already won on the turf. He is still eligible for this condition if he switches surfaces, which I would think this crafty trainer will do. Tab for him to continue his winning ways either going short or long, whatever comes up in the condition book in 3 to 4 weeks. He was a Turfdom Best Bet on the day and paid an even $10.00.
