Dr. Venkman: Nice Burst Of Speed To Win By Five

Three year old gelding for Mark Glatt made his debut in Friday’s 2nd, a sprint on the main at six and a half for special weights, 3 and up. Off at 4/1 in a field of 10, he broke a step slow under the bug boy Aguilar and was 4th down the back side, but just 3 off the dueling leaders. The jock got him to the outside at the ¼ pole and he cruised up to the leaders four wide at the top of the lane, then kicked clear with a nice burst of speed to win going away by five at the wire. It was a visually impressive race. This son of Ghostzapper is a runner.
