Four year old filly for Cliff Sise made her debut on Friday in a Cal bred maiden special weight event at ¾ on the main for older runners that was originally scheduled for the turf. Off at 6/5 from a morning line of 6/1 with the help of three late scratches, she broke running under Mike Smith and dueled for the lead down the back side. She opened up a length on a rival at the 3/8 pole, held that lead into the stretch, then gradually pulled away late to win by a length and a half at the wire. She looked every bit the professional from flag fall to finish and was meant from the get go for Sise, who just so happens to own this filly as well. It’s taken him awhile to get this filly to the races, but she has some quality and should have no trouble with the first allowance condition.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Danzing Flyer was cabable of. We expected that if Danzing Flyer gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Danzing Flyer performance figures. Use the performance figures earned in Danzing Flyer last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Danzing Flyer next start. If Danzing Flyer appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Danzing Flyer will dominate the race.
Helpful Tip: So that it’s easy for you to compare a horse’s past performance, Today’s Racing Digest’s Performance Figures for upcoming races are based on how we expect the horse to perform in that race regardless of any changes in race conditions. Learn More: Â
