Cheeky Tico: A Fairer Track and Better Trip Can Help

Had a wide trip throughout when the inside seemed to be the faster part of the track . He made his bid around the far turn while still in the three-path and was able to gain ground to finish 3rd. A fairer track and a better trip can only help in his next start.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Cheeky Tico was cabable of.  We expected that if Cheeky Tico gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Cheeky Tico performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Cheeky Tico last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Cheeky Tico next start.  If Cheeky Tico appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Cheeky Tico will dominate the race.
