Buzz of New York (IRE): Won’t be Beat with Simliar Next Time Out

Five year old mare for Phil D’Amato tried the 2nd allowance condition on Friday at 9 furlongs on the lawn. Off at 5/2 under leading rider Hernandez, she sat fifth down the back side in this field of 7. J.J. got her in tight between horses at the 3/8 and she had to check sharply, then got shuffled all the way back to last while losing her momentum. The jock got her going again at the top of the lane and she rallied willingly down the stretch, but couldn’t catch her stable mate in the final yards. She settled for 2nd beaten a length and a half at the wire. They won’t beat her at this condition next time and she was best today.
