As Catch Can: She Wants 2 Turns For Her Best and This One Sets Her Up Nicely

Three year old filly for Jonothan Thomas tried the Sweet Life stakes on Sunday coming down the hill for soph fillies. Off at 12/1 in a field of 9, she broke OK under Rispoli and was in fifth down the hill 4 back of the leaders. Rispoli kept her on the outside going over the dirt crossover, asked her for run at the top of the lane, then put in a big surge late to garner second, but well beaten by the odds on favorite by two and a half. She had been racing up at Woodbine where she was stakes placed in a Grade 3 as a juvenile. She wants two turns for her best and this race sets her up nicely for the stretch out. Look for high percentage trainer Thomas to find a good spot for her in the near future.
