Anarchist: Tight Down Inside Yet Only Beaten By a Half and Bred For 2 Turns

Four year old colt for Doug O’Neill, who had not been to the post since July of last year at Ellis Park, tried the first allowance condition on Sunday at six and a half on the main. Off at 9/2 in a field of six after two late scratches, he broke OK under Vasquez and was third down the back side three lengths off the pace. He looked loaded at the ¼ pole, but was in tight down on the inside and never could quite find a seam to sneak through. One finally opened late but the race was over, yet he was only beaten a half at the wire. This lightly run son of Distorted Humor should have no trouble knocking out this condition and he is bred to get two turns as well.
