Alpine Queen: Can Improve With a Better Break and Trip

Didn’t break the best and was caught four wide up the backstretch while tracking four others in front of her. She made a big move around the turn, but couldn’t keep up in the final furlong. A better trip and better break can only help her chances next time.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Alpine Queen was cabable of.  We expected that if Alpine Queen gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Alpine Queen performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Alpine Queen last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Alpine Queen next start.  If Alpine Queen appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Alpine Queen will dominate the race.
