Two year old colt for Tim Yakteen made his debut on Saturday in a maiden special weight event at six and a half on the main. Off at 7/1 in a field of 11, he broke like a rocket from the outside slot and quickly opened up two and a half on the field with a quick 1st quarter in 22.29. He still led at the top of the stretch until his stable mate rolled up on the outside, but he fought on gamely and lost by two and a half at the wire. There were some nice runners behind him in this field including two well bred Baffert runners. The winner paid $68.00. “Glory” worked well coming into this race, was a Ready Rookie, and will find a winning spot in the near future. His combination of speed and stamina make him a soon winner for a barn having a strong year.
