Bolt d’Vine: Pulled Away Late for an 8 Length Victory Off Good 5/8 Gate Work

Three year old filly for Phil D’Amato was yet another Ready Rookie to get the money in his debut. Off at 3/1 in a field of 7 at ¾ on the main, 3 and up, he came out running under Frey and contended for the lead through fractions of 22.36 and 45.53 for the half. There were three across the track at the 3/8 pole and she was going the easiest on the outside, was loaded at the ¼ pole, and pulled away late for an 8 length victory. She was coming off a 5/8 gate work in good time just six days ago and fit the Ready Rookie pattern to a T. Up the ladder for the daughter of the good win early sire Bolt d’Oro.

Generally horses that are on the Horses To Watch list ran into unexpected trouble, bad luck, and/or didn’t run the race we believe Bolt d’Vine was cabable of.  We expected that if Bolt d’Vine gets a good trip in their next start than we should see an improvement in Bolt d’Vine performance figures.  Use the performance figures earned in Bolt d’Vine last race (listed above) and compare them to the field and pars of Bolt d’Vine next start.  If Bolt d’Vine appears to have earned higher performance figures in the last race when running into trouble  as compared to the rest of the field’s expected perfomance in the upcoming race than there is a good chance that Bolt d’Vine will dominate the race.
