The road to Kentucky Oaks 2024 continues at Santa Anita Park on Saturday, April 6, and I have included Santa Anita Oaks 2024 picks below. The Grade 2 event for 3-year-old fillies has a $300,000 purse and the five entrants will be journeying 1 1/16 miles on the main track. The Santa Anita Oaks is the 6th race on April 6 and the top five finishers will earn Kentucky Oaks points (100-50-25-15-10). 

Santa Anita Oaks 2024 Picks & Final Time Ratings

Kinza is unbeaten in three starts for Bob Baffert. She made all the running in her last two stakes victories, and she beat Kopion on the square in the Las Virgenes (G3) at one mile on Feb. 10. The latter won her first two starts impressively and has been freshened for this. Richard Mandella’s Omaha Beach filly sports two bullets for this and should be forwardly placed under her new rider Mike Smith. Kinza will attempt to wire the field and Kopion figures to press outside from second. I will go with Kopion to turn the tables. 

Corposo stretched out and earned a better number in her local flat mile maiden win second time out. She figurers to stalk the pace from the outside post and is probably hoping the two favorites to get into a pace battle. She would need all of the dominoes to fall into place to compete for the win. 

The Santa Anita Oaks field also includes Nothing Like You and Ifuainffirsturlast. Bob Baffert’s runners are ineligible to earn Kentucky Oaks points.
