Video Review: On Normal Non Biased Turf He Wins This Race

Two year old colt for Doug O’Neill made start #2 in Saturday’s finale, a maiden special weight event at a mile on the turf. Off at 16/1 in this field of 10, he went right to the lead from the get go under Berrios and tried to take the field wire to wire. He had two on the field down the back side, still had the lead turning for home, and didn’t give up the ghost till very late. He was beaten just ¾ of a length and ran third over a very biased turf course where winners had won 10 consecutive races from well off the pace. On a normal non biased surface he wins this race. This son of Nyquist will probably get his next start down at Del Mar and if the course is playing fair, he gets the money.
