Strange Addiction: Broke Slowly and Bumped Rallied From 8 Back For 3rd

Three year old filly for Dave Hofmans made her debut in Sunday’s 6th, a maiden special weight event at ¾ on the turf for Cal breds 3 and up. Off at 6/1 in a field of 9, she broke very slowly and bumped with an inside horse to be away last. She was 8 back of the leaders very quickly, then was rushed up into some sort of contention by Cedillo, found a seam late and rallied for third. She was beaten by four at the wire and the winner basically went wire to wire. She is bred to go short or long, turf or dirt, and her dam was a runner. Lots of options for this daughter of the hot sire Good Magic. Look for the very underrated Dave Hofmans to find a winning spot for her.
