Orange Freeze: Trouble Out of Gate On Fast Track and Couldn’t Catch Up

Made her 2023 debut with first time blinkers and likely lost all chance at the start. She hopped a bit out of the gate, then was bumped on the left two strides out of the gate and then bumped to the right a stride later and was last entering the first turn. The turf course has been playing pretty fast and it is pretty difficult to rally from far back so far at the meet so this race may be a tossout. She did earn minor awards in her two starts last year and maybe she can move forward with a cleaner break next time out.
