Denim in Gold: Led From 1 Hole and Cruised Home To Win by 2 and Bred to Go Long Also

Four year old filly for Adam Kitchingman made a rider switch on Saturday in her 3rd career start and it made all the difference in breaking her maiden at ¾ on the turf. Off at 7/2 in this special weight event, Maldonado took this filly right to the front from the one hole, opened up three by the 3/8 pole, and cruised on home to win by two over the heavy odds on favorite. This is the first time this one showed early speed, but that’s what this rider is known for and it made all the difference today. She’s bred to go long as well.
